Mrs. Starks is an outstanding piano teacher! My son started lessons with her over two years ago. She is dedicated, organized, and patient; but yet firm enough to handle my "strong and sometimes impatient" 9 year old. He likes to do things his way, yet she keeps him focused and growing. She is extremely gifted and holds his attention weekly, which led us to increase his class time to one hour. I am grateful for the record of weekly assignments that enable the parents and students to keep on track and review challenging pieces. She allows my son to pick out his personal "passionate" pieces and diligently teaches him to play them whether its been in school or church recitals. She is the best piano teacher this side of the east coast.
I highly recommend her you won't be disappointed.

Mrs. Starks is is an AMAZING teacher. Her thoughtful approach to each student's musical interests, abilities and goals is phenomena. I decided to learn piano in June 2020. I'm so happy I started my adult piano lesson with her, and I will continue my piano journey with her. I love how she tailors the music choices and approach to what each individual needs.
She is so talented and patient. I also really appreciate her flexibility on the schedules.
