The Virtual Piano Academy teaches students to play the piano by reading notes, playing by ear, studying music theory, learning about music history, and exploring all types of music genres. Whether the student has studied music or not the teacher works with whatever the student brings as his/her experience. Whatever the passion the teacher will help to nourish it.

I began my journey as a music teacher 54 years ago in a public school setting. After graduating wtih a bachelors in education, a masters in education and 4 piano recitals I begain to teach piano privately. .For over 40 years, I’ve had the joy of guiding students through their musical journeys. From beginners just discovering the keyboard to advanced players refining their artistry, I’ve seen the power of music transform confidence, creativity, and discipline. The choice to teach virtually after many years of in-person lessons became necessary during COVID. It became so popular and so accessible that the lesson format became convenient for many students. across the USA and abroad, Whether you’re seven or seventy, it’s never too late (or too early) to make music part of your life. I am committed to providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment for all.
